KATHUA, June 6: A youth committed suicide in village Drung in tehsil Billawar of Kathua district this evening.
He has been identified as Lalit Sharma, 23, son of Lal Mani. He hanged himself with the ceiling of his room. The cause of the suicide was not known immediately.
The police shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital, Billawar for autopsy which will be done tomorrow. After the completion of legal formalities the dead body will be handed over to family members tomorrow for last rites.
Billawar police has taken the cognizance of the matter.
