JAMMU, Aug 24: Expressing his grave concern over rising number of unemployed youth and lack of employment opportunities for them in State, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Chief Election Coordinator for Jammu Province, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that it was because of Government’s inability to rope in mega industrial houses and absence of a well laid ‘youth policy’ that young educated people are jobless and their number is swelling.
Choudhary said that, since Government cannot absorb everyone, it becomes its duty to create an atmosphere where people invest in industries and other ventures to create more jobs for unemployed youth.
Choudhary Hamid said that PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and party Chief Mehbooba Mufti possess a vision to empower youth. He said that the PDP leaders intend to achieve full potential of our youth force and through them enable State to progress and prosper in every field.
