RAJOURI, Apr 17: A youth was killed after his bike was hit by a Tipper in Thalka area of Nowshera last night.
A police spokesman said that rashly driven GREF Tipper hit a motor-cycle No. JK11D/0591 near Thalka in Nowshera at around 8.45 pm on Tuesday. The injured in critical condition was rushed to Nowshera hospital where doctors declared them as brought dead.
He was identified as Sumit Kumar, son of Suraj Kumar, resident of Dhanman in Rajouri. He was working as cameraman with a local TV channel. The police arrested the Tipper driver Dalip Kumar, resident of Gambhir and seized vehicle. A case has been registered in this connection.
