KATRA, Nov 11: Police station Katra today detained a youth for his reckless motorcycle stunting in public areas.
Police received a credible information that the said youth, identified as Sachin Singh, son of Late Mohinder Singh , resident of Aghar Jitto, Tehsil Katra, was seen performing dangerous stunts on a KTM Duke motorcycle in public areas.
The said motorcycle did not bear any registration number plate and was being driven in a rash and negligent manner, thereby posing a serious threat to his own life and the safety of others.
During enquiry, it came to light that videos of such stunt riding were also being circulated on social media through Instagram handle @sachin_stunzz, operated by the accused himself. The chassis number of the seized bike has been verified as MD2JPEXE5LC002466.
Taking swift action on the matter, FIR No. 307/2025 was registered at Police Station Katra under Section 281, 125 BNS and 184 MV Act. The motorcycle used for the stunt has been seized and further legal proceedings are underway.
The entire operation was led by SHO Katra, Inspector Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the supervision of SDPO Katra Bhishm Dubey.
