SAMBA, Aug 17: A youth consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at his residence at Ward No 17 here, today.
He has been identified as Raghav Dass, 28, son of Chuni Lal resident of Amritsar, Punjab at present in Ward No 17 Samba. He consumed poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances. When local people saw him in unconscious condition, they immediately shifted him to District Hospital Samba, where the doctor washed his stomach and then referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for further treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter in this regard and started further investigation.
