JAMMU, Nov 20: The J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) here today condemned the ‘Vote Chori’ scam exposed by Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing a press conference, PYC leaders including IYC secretary in-charge J&K, Maan Singh Rathore, IYC secretary, Manpreet Singh, JKPYC secretary, Anirudh Sawhney and other office bearers, termed the revelations as serious threat to India’s democratic fabric.
They said that large-scale manipulation of voter data and induction of fake votes, as highlighted by Rahul Gandhi, pointed to a deeply centralised and coordinated operation that undermines the very foundation of free and fair elections.
Maan Singh Rathore said that the expose has unmasked the most brazen attempt to tamper with India’s electoral mandate.
Manpreet Singh said that what has come to light is nothing short of an attack on India’s constitutional values carried out with administrative complicity.
Anirudh Sawhney said that J&K Youth Congress stands firmly with Rahul Gandhi’s effort to expose the fraud and restore public faith in the electoral process.
Congress general secretaries Sawarnveer Jaral, Rahul Tandon, Imad Wani and Munish Saproo, PYC secretaries Suhaib Manhas, Gagan Randhawa, president AYC Jammu East, Mehul Abrol and Moilik Sharma, DYC secretary and others were also present in the press conference.
