REASI, June 7: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Geeta Nagar area of Reasi, here late last night.
The deceased, identified as Tarun Sharma (20), son of Joginder Sharma, a resident near ITI Geeta Nagar Reasi, was found hanging from ceiling fan in his room.
According to the reports, the deceased had returned home in the evening and went straight to his room. After some time, when family members went to check on him, they found him hanging from the ceiling fan.
He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Reasi, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Reasi Police have registered a case in this regard and initiated investigations.
