KATHUA, July 15: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree at Mahanpur tehsil of Kathua district this morning.
The youth has been identified as Man Singh, son of Puran Singh of Mahanpur. He was working as a labour in UP but for last four months he was at his residence. His dead body was found hanging with a tree this morning.
The family members after seeing the body informed the police which took it into its custody and later shifted to SDH Basholi for postmortem. The dead body was handed over to family after legal formalities by the police for last rites. The police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law in this regard.
