KATHUA, Dec 11: One youth committed suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan at his residence at Sukhrala in tehsil Billawar of Kathua district today.
He has been identified as Sahil Singh, 25, son of Puran Singh of Sukhrala. His dead body was recovered by Billawar Police after getting the information. Later the body was handed over to family after conducting its postmortem at Sub District Hospital Billawar.
The Billawar Police has registered a case under Section 174 IPC and started investigation in this regard.
