RAMBAN, Aug 26: A youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Shabanbas area, falling under the jurisdiction of Banihal police station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Hameed (20), son of Rashid Gujjar of Shabanbas.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members after conducting autopsy at SDH Banihal.
Banihal police has taken cognizance in this regard.
