Youth Club demands police action against cheats

JAMMU, May 22: A Social Youth Club ‘SMILE’ has demanded police action and Crime Branch probe against a group of cheats who have duped innocent people of Rajouri and Poonch districts of their hard earned money.
Addressing a press conference here today M.S Qureshi, President SMILE said the cheats were running a fake company which claimed to double the money within thirty days.
He flayed the police for having failed to act against the cheats well in time.
Qureshi also said that within six months the cheats collected over Rs 300 crore from the public and escaped scot-free.
He informed that though an FIR has been registered at Police Stations Manjakote and Mendhar but the culprits being influential and having political patronage are roaming free.
