JAMMU, July 3: A youth was brutally attacked with sharp edged weapons by a group of four miscreants late last night in an area falling under the jurisdiction of Janipur police station.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Pranav, a resident of Janipur was brutally attacked by a group of four miscreants led by Surinder Singh late last night.
On getting information, family members reached the spot and rushed the profusely bleeding youth to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and his condition remained critical till late tonight.
A case under FIR Number 57/16 under Section 307/34 RPC and Arms Act has been registered against the accused persons at Janipur police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
