JAMMU, Oct 22: Police arrested a youth and recovered stolen motorcycle from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal apprehended a youth, who was involved in assault case registered at RS Pura Police Station.
The arrested person has been identified as Akarshit Kumar alias Nonu, son of Sushil Kumar of Purana Pind, tehsil RS Pura.
During preliminary inquiry, the accused revealed that he had stolen a motorcycle, which was also recovered by the police team.
Further investigation into the cases registered against the accused is going on.
