JAMMU, Mar 7: Nirvana Academy and Federation of Indian Blood Donor Organization in collaboration with Government Women College Parade today honoured young women achievers at Auditiorium Government College for Women Parade on the eve of International Women Day.
Arunima Sinha, Secretary IAS Wife’s Association was the chief guest on the occasion and Dr. Hemala Aggarwal Principal of the college was guest of honour. R. C. Puri Secretary Indian Red Cross Society Jammu, Vikrant Dogra Vice President FIBD and Ashutosh Bajaj Business head Bharti Infratel J&K Circle were the other dignitaries present on the occasion.
65 young women achiever of the Jammu region were honored on the occasion for their achievements in different fields under three group categories as Award for YWA, Certificate of Excellence and Honour and Certificate of Appreciation.
Speaking on the occasion, Arunima Sinha said cultural programme marking such remarkable events will not only boost the morale of young women but also spread the message of importance of celebration of International Women Day. This day encourages advocacy for women’s advancement everywhere in every way.
