UDHAMPUR, July 30: A young woman was allegedly raped by a 55 year old man at Basantgarh, here today.
Acting on a written complaint in this regard, lodged by 35 year old victim, Police has arrested the accused. He was identified as Mohd Shafi of Basantgarh.
Police has registered an FIR, No. 19/16, under Section 376 CrPC for further investigation while the victim was sent to hospital for medical examination.
