KATRA, May 3: A young male pilgrim from Uttar Pradesh, died here today due to cardiac arrest while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine along with his friends.
The deceased, identified as Shubam Singh (32), son of Jagan Nath Singh of 196 –Vinayak, Kanpur, UP, was found in an unconscious condition near toilet block number 8 at RD number 4/450, near Adhkwari. He was immediately brought to dispensary at Adhkwari where doctor declared him as brought dead due to cardiac arrest.
Later the dead body was shifted to SDH Katra for further legal action.
