UDHAMPUR, Nov 4: In an apparent case of suicide, a young housewife was found hanging from a tree near the house of her in-laws at village Prey in Ramnagar.
According to the reports, Pooja Devi (36), wife of Kuldeep Kumar, resident of village Prey, was found hanging from a tree near her house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by some locals, a Police party from Police Station Ramnagar reached the spot and took the dead body to the Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the post-mortem.
Though it was an apparent case of suicide, cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained. Ramnagar Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
