Young girl dies of electrocution

JAMMU, Apr 4: A 22-year old girl died today due to electrocution at her residence falling under the jurisdiction of police post Peer Mitha.
According to a police spokesperson, an engineering student identified as Gagandeep Kour daughter of Paramjeet Kour, a resident of Dalpatian Mohalla, came in contact with an uncovered live wire while taking bath in the washroom of her residence, this morning.
In unconscious condition, the family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
