JAMMU, July 25: The dead body of a 19-year-old boy was found hanging today at his residence in Qasim Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Shibu Kumar, son of Roshan Lal, resident of New Bahu Fort Colony. He said Shibu was found hanging today at about 6:45 PM in his room from the hook of the ceiling fan. The deceased used to work as a salesman at a showroom of readymade garments located at Paharian Mohalla, Jammu.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while Bagh-e-Bahu police had taken cognizance of the matter,” he said, adding FSL team has collected evidences and samples from the spot after doing proper videography of the crime scene.
