JAMMU, Oct 19: A young boy died today due to electrocution in Kanachak area of city outskirts.
Police sources said that an 18-year-old boy namely Pankaj Sharma son of Kamal Sharma, resident of Kangrail, received severe electric shock from an electric motor at his residence this morning.
They said in unconscious condition, the boy was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
Kanachak Police had taken cognizance of the matter, sources added.
