RAJOURI, June 23: A young bike-rider was crushed to death by a tipper near Thannamandi late this evening.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sher Khan, son of Wajahid Khan, resident of Kotli Kalaban, at present Ward No. 8 Rajouri. The incident took place near Qila, at around 9 pm. The young was coming from opposite direction. The flash lights of tipper fell on him and he was ran over by the tipper along with his bike. The tipper driver escaped from the spot leaving behind vehicle. The police shifted the dead body to local hospital and registered a case in this connection. The vehicle was also seized.
