Adityanath files nomination in Gorakhpur

GORAKHPUR, Feb 4: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath filed his nomination paper for the Gorakhpur city assembly in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Election in charge of UP Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP state president Swatantradev Singh were also present. Before the nomination, Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at the Gorakhnath temple. After this, Yogi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public meeting.
Before the filing of nomination, Minister of State Sonam Kinnar welcomed Yogi Adityanath with a crown and garland along with her fellow friends. She had also brought a quarter-kilogram gold ‘thali’ and Kamakhya Devi’s kumkum to ’tilak’ CM Yogi Adityanath.
Before the nomination, Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the public meeting, said that during the five years in the state, the government of double engine has tried to live up to everyone’s expectations. Today, no political party in the state can deny the work of BJP. Yogi said that all of us are getting guidance and blessings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Chief Minister said that in the last five years, the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Uttar Pradesh has tried to fulfill in every field and its positive results are also in front of the public. The people of the state have got an environment of security. Their faith has been respected. The benefits of development projects and welfare schemes of the government have reached the people without discrimination.
The meeting organized at Maharana Pratap Inter College Ground, Yogi said that for five years, the BJP government and the organization together have given the result of security, development and good governance in the state. Today no one can make negative remarks about the leadership of the state and the country.
Welcoming Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Shah has made the BJP realize the power of the BJP in UP on his own. The organization of BJP in Uttar Pradesh was there from the very beginning. But, any organization should be alive and Amit Shah has contributed the most in this direction. The Chief Minister said that Shah has made a great contribution in establishing BJP as the largest political party in the world. In 2019, when he got the responsibility of the Home Ministry under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he gave the first gift to abolish Article 370 from Kashmir. Today, with the abolition of Article 370, the name of terrorism has been eradicated. Under the leadership of PM Modi and Home Minister Shah, the second big gift has been received for the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya.
Amit Shah also praised Yogi’s tenure and said that Uttar Pradesh has become free from the mafia under Yogi Raj. Shah accused the Samajwadi Party of patronizing the mafia and bringing it to the polls and said that earlier there was mafia rule in every district in UP, but now either the mafia is in jail, or has left the state. The Home Minister said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to repeat history once again. BJP is again going to get more than 300 seats.
The Home Minister said that when he had come to Gorakhpur in 2013 before the Lok Sabha elections, people had asked whether the party would be able to reach double digits. Today this condition has come before the opposition. Home Minister Amit Shah said that once Gorakhpur was considered as the hiding place of the mafia, but today Gorakhpur has become the synonym of development of Uttar Pradesh. Now Gorakhpur is known for Ganga Expressway, Organic agriculture, Road, AIIMS, Fertilizer factory, Purvanchal Expressway and Regional Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party will release the ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections on 6th of February Giving this information, Yogi Adityanath said that in the 2017 assembly elections, the party had taken an oath to fulfill 212 point public welfare programs, under the guidance of the then National President and Amit Shah, treating them as mantras one by one during five years, those issues were taken care of.
