JAMMU, July 17: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organised ‘Projectathon-2021’ wherein final year students of all the departments participated in project competition, here today.
Er Neetu Sharma, JKSPDC Jammu judged the projects of Civil Engineering Department, whereas Er HN Bhat, HoD Mechanical Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic Jammu adjudged the projects of Mechanical Engineering and Prof (Dr) A Nazar Ali, Rajlaxmi College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu judged the projects of Electrical Engineering besides Vipin Verma, MD Ecronsoft App Private Limited Bengaluru judged the projects of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology Departments.
While delivering their speeches, the judges said that events like this not only provides opportunities to students to collaborate or drive their own learning, but it also teaches them to acquire skills which helps them in future, such as critical thinking and time management.
During the competition, five each project were presented by Civil Engineering Department and Electrical Engineering Department, whereas eight projects were presented by Mechanical Department and four projects were presented by CSE/IT Department wherein two projects of each department were shortlisted by judges as excellent projects.
Er Neeraj Pandita, HoD Mechanical Engineering coordinated the entire Projectathon.
