JAMMU, Oct 16: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized a campus placement drive by WebAstral Infosystems for the students of Computer Science and IT Engineering of BE 7th semester here on the campus.
WebAstral Infosystems is an IT based company which offers multiple profiles like web designing, android application development and internet marketing to the students. The students had to appear in two rounds, group discussion and technical interview.
A total of 60 students had participated in the drive out of which 11 made it to the second round. Finally 03 (three) students namely Monu Pandita and Vasundra Wazir from Computer Science & Engineering Department and Akriti Gupta from IT Engineering Department, were selected by the company.
The students were very excited and participated whole heartedly during the whole placement drive. The drive was arranged by Ms Khushboo Singh, Training and Placement Officer, YCET and was coordinated by Dinesh Gupta, HOD Computer & IT Engineering along with other faculty members of the department, Robin Kumar, Anupreet and Mehndi Samra.
Dr Arvind Dewangan, Director, Dr Sandeep Malik, Dean and BR Verma, Chief Coordinator congratulated the selected students and wished them for their bright future.
