Yaseen for reopening Poonch- Rawlakote, Uri- Muzaffarabad routes

BUDGAM, Apr 1: Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Yaseen while welcomed resumption of trade ties between two neighbouring countries has urged to open all trade routes between Indian and Pakistan including  traditional trade routes of Jammu and Kashmir including Poonch- Rawlakote and Uri – Muzaffarabad.
Speaking at a function held at Khansahib in Budgam to mark the joining of new political activists in PDF today, Hakeem Yaseen welcomed resumption of partial trade between India and Pakistan and hoped that the move would pave way for development of friendly and cordial relations between the two neighbouring countries .
He said that statements of the leadership of both countries that ” We should forget the past bitterness and chug on the path of friendship, peace and prosperity ” was highly encouraging . He said friendly and cordial relations between India and Pakistan  were in the larger interests of the people of both countries  especially Jammu and Kashmir which has been directly bearing the brunt of animosity between the two neighbouring countries.
Yaseen urged the need to open all the traditional trade routes of Jammu and Kashmir to bring people of India and Pakistan closer to each other. He has urged the need for initiating more CBMs to improve relations between India and Pakistan so that both the countries could resolve their all  outstanding issues including vexed Kashmir problem amicably through the process of dialogue and reconciliation.
PDF chairman stressed the need for reviving diplomatic, cultural, educational and trade ties between the two neighbouring countries to usher an era of goodwill, peace and prosperity in the South Asian region.
On this occasion, several political activists  joined PDF  who  include- Hameeda Bano  BDC member, Sukhnag; Mushtaq Ahmad Para, Sarpanch Knagripora, Kousar Bano, Sarpanch Dahsan, Mohd Shaban, Sarpanch, Curmujroo and Bashir Ahmad Lone, Panch Dahsan. They expressed their unflinching faith on the leadership of PDF chief and vowed to work for the betterment and welfare of the people.
