SRINAGAR, July 12: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) delegates camping in Srinagar for over a week to persuade Government for issuance of orders for merit list candidates to be appointed under PM’s employment package for displaced youth, besides meeting the chairman Service Selection Board (SASB) held a joint meeting with Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister, Raman Bhalla and Advisor to Chief Minister, Devender Rana today.
The delegation of YAIKS led by its president R K Bhat urged the Government during these meetings to amend the SRO 412 which will pave way for the recruitment of the pending merit list candidates. They also sought the intervention of the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in the matter and urged him to take necessary steps for making the Amendments in the SRO. They said the 1500 posts be filled up from the already prepared merit list which is lying with recruiting agencies while the fresh advertisements be called for remaining 3000 posts.
Besides the delegation demanded issuance of appointment orders for 134 class four whose list has already been recommended by Relief Commissioner and which is pending with Revenue Minister.
A delegation of 180 displaced youth including male and female are camping in Summer Capital for a week now in their pursuit to get the appointment orders issued for pending merit list candidates.
Later Mr Bhat said that a new hope has generated among these youth with the positive response given by Chairman Recruitment Board, Messrs Bhalla and Rana.
