JAMMU, Oct 7: Youth4PanunKashmir (Y4PK) and Panun Kashmir today in global online meeting of core activists and community representatives, announced the launch of a decisive “Maha Abhiyan” — a comprehensive movement beginning January 16 in 2026 from Jagti, township, Jammu.
This announcement marks the revival of the Margdarshan Resolution of 1991, reaffirming it as the sole and unanimous guiding document for the reclamation and rehabilitation of the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community in their homeland. The Maha Abhiyan will commence with the divine invocation of Asht Bhairav and the Shakti Yajna, symbolizing the spiritual strength, unity, and sacred resolve of the community to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Kaul, chairman, Apex Committee, Youth4PanunKashmir, said that the movement is entering its most decisive phase. “The Maha Abhiyan represents the awakening of collective conscience — blessed by Asht Bhairav and Shakti — to reclaim what history, law, and destiny have always promised us: Panun Kashmir, our homeland.”
Echoing this sentiment, Vithal Chowdhary, president, Youth 4 PK, said that this is not merely an organizational programme but the culmination of three and a half decades of endurance, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. “The Maha Abhiyan will be the definitive assertion of our right to return and rebuild our homeland under the Margdarshan Resolution 1991.”
Sunil Raina, vice president, Y4PK, described the Abhiyan as the generational call to transform pain into purpose and resolve into action.
Digamber Raina, general secretary, Y4PK, underlined that the time for silence has ended.
The meet witnessed participation from youth activists and emerging community leaders, including Suvesh Pandita, Rahul Pandita, and Yamini Kaul.
The announcement was endorsed by senior community leaders and activists including Pintoo Ji Pandita, Vijay Pandita (TRT Nagrota), Ashwani Bhat, Raj Nath Dhar, and Sharma Raina, along with representatives from various camp-based organizations and global activist networks.
