DUSHANBE, Oct 5: Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory telegram to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on his birthday, saying that the China attaches great importance to the development of China-Tajikistan relations, the press service of the Chinese leader said today.
“I attach great importance to the development of China-Tajikistan relations, cherish our deep friendship, and am ready to work together to promote the continuous deepening and strengthening of comprehensive cooperation between China and Tajikistan, filling the community of shared future between our countries with more substantial content,” the telegram read.
Xi added that there were two productive meetings were organised this year, first in Astana and then in Beijing.
