Wrong policies of Centre, State responsible for present mess: KPC

New Delhi, Mar 2: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today alleged that the wrong policies of the Union and State Governments were responsible for the present mess in the State.
Addressing the meeting of party activists here, today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri urged the Union Government to review its Kashmir policy to frustrate the nefarious designs of those who are inimical to national cause in the State.
He said that KPC is for consolidated rehabilitation of over seven lakh KPs and other nationalist forces in the land of Kashyap within Valley where the writ of Indian Constitution runs large.
Rejecting the demands of autonomy and self rule, he said the protagonists of these demands are actually responsible for the miseries of Pandits and also deprived them of their constitutional rights.
Kashmiri also criticized those politicians who are trying to induce the Pandits for return without addressing their geo-political aspirations.
He said NGOs and non migrant organizations are organizing functions in this regard to befool the community. He asked them not to meddle in the community affairs.
The meeting also demanded immediate passage of Kashmiri Hindu Shrines and Temples Bill and warned against exclusion of any shrine from the purview of the Bill.
