JAMMU, Oct 8: In the present world scenario, a balance among individual, society and nature is the answer to all the global issues and India has the capacity to show path in this regard.
This was stated by Dattatrey Hosawale, senior functionary and Sah-Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), while delivering a lecture on the topic ‘Present world scenario and role of India’, here today.

“Even as Science and Technology have brought a tremendous change and materialistic prosperity in the human life style, the issues like global terrorism, economic recession, global warming, Carbon emission and climate change etc have posed major challenges before the world,” Mr Dattatrey said.
Drawing attention towards the series of events after the first world war, he informed how atrocities were committed on the name of religion, race and communism by one group on the other. “Even as the world has shrugged due to information technology and we have scaled Moon as well Mars, the distance between hearts has widened,” he said adding that in the prevailing scenario, Indian culture has an idea as well as approach for solution of the issues confronting the world.
“The solution is `Vasudev Kutumb Kam’, (entire world is a family) and a balance among individual, society and nature, as shown by the Indian culture,” the RSS functionary explained. However, at the same time, he added that India should also learn good habits from other countries without any prejudice.
