Workshops on Maths Corners, Teaching Aids concludes

JAMMU, June 23: Mathematics wing and ET Cell of State Institute of Education (SIE), organised workshops on “Development of Maths Corners in Schools” and “Preparing Low Cost, No Cost Teaching Aids”, concluded.
On the concluding day today, GA Qureshi, Director School Education, was the chief guest, who while speaking, emphasized that experience gained through these workshops must be carried on to the actual beneficiaries.
He also stressed that the teachers should develop learning corners in their respective schools. These learning corners/ teaching aids, will enhance the quality of education learning process in the schools, he added.
The workshops were coordinated by Surinder Kumar Gupta and Ashok Kumar Sharma, whereas, Archana Khanna, Pritam Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Doulat Ram Shastri all from SIE, Kuldeep Khajuria from DIET, Reasi, were the resource persons. Akash Khajuria and Sat Pal, provided technical support during the workshops.
Earlier, the workshops were inaugurated by AC Aima, Joint Director (Trg), Principal, SIE, who while speaking, stressed upon the participants to discuss at length the doubts with the resource persons.
