Workshop on personality development held at NIFD

JAMMU, Oct 4: A workshop on personality development was conducted at NIFD by Neerja Sisodia, a specialized trainee in the field of behavioural and communication training.
This workshop at NIFD revolved around personality development and garment draping.
The young designers had shown great participation and enthusiasm by being an active member during the training. They were made to do a lot of physical activities and were taught different ways of draping a saree and a little more fancier styles of wearing their scarves on day to day basis as well as special occasions. The students were taught about the importance of basic etiquettes and body language in their daily lifestyle.
The students were very happy with the end result of the workshop as they got to relate to the most of the situations that were brought forward and in the end they were awarded with certificate of participation.
Speaking on the occasion, Centre Head, Vanita Thakur said, “NIFD as an institute for the last 20 years continues to strive towards giving its students exposure through such interactive workshops which enhance their personality and stands them in good stead in their lives ahead”.
