SAMBA, Dec 28: To create awareness among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to achieve Zero Defect in manufacturing to improve competitiveness, General Manager Industries Centre Samba in collaboration with ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Division of Quality Council of India organized a one day workshop here today.
Manik Gupta, Assistant Director and Manish Vashistha, Assistant Director, Quality Council of India, Government of India along with unit heads and representatives of various MSMEs units of district Samba were present on the occasion.
General Manager District Industries Centre, Samba Virender Kumar Manyal presided over the function.
More than 40 MSMEs got registered free of cost under ZED certification scheme during the workshop.
In his welcome address, General Manager District Indus-tries Centre, Samba Virender Kumar Manyal stated that such workshop will assist the MSMEs to gradually build their competence and achieve the desired level of excellence in a structured manner.
