JAMMU, June 2: With the objective of facilitating the smooth OnLine Admission process of students to Semester-I of BSc, BCA, BA, BCom and BBA for the session 2016-17 in Government Degree Colleges of Jammu Division, one day workshop was organized in GGM Science College.
On the occasion, Netu Gupta, Special Secretary, Higher Education Department was the chief guest. The workshop was attended by Admission Coordinators from the different colleges of Jammu Division.
The detailed deliberation was held during which the live demonstrations were presented by Baiju Ubbot and Karunesh Kumar from NIC who had developed the software for OnLine Admission process. Besides, the different perspectives of the OnLine Admission process were dwelt at length by Prof Vinus Sharma. The doubts and queries raised by the participants during the workshop were cleared to their satisfaction.
Speaking on occasion, Nitu Gupta asked the participants to sort out the issues of net connectivity and broadband availability in their respective colleges without any further delay so that the process of OnLine Admission is hassle free for students.
Earlier, Dr Ajeet Angral, Nodal principal, GGM Science College presented the welcome address, while in the end, the vote of thanks was presented by Prof Ranjeet Singh Jamwal.
