JAMMU, Oct 18: A two-day workshop on ‘Robo Electronica, was organised by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in collaboration with Robo Species Technologies, Noida, in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), today.
Dean, School of Mathematical Sciences and Engineering, Professor Mohammad Asghar inaugurated the event by sharing his words of wisdom with students and faculty members.
The students of Electronics and Communication and Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering attended the workshop, whose main motive was to expose the students regarding the innovative fields of Robotics.
The topics, which were discussed in the workshop included Introduction to Autonomous Robotics, different types of sensors and their applications, etc. Workshop also involved the practical hands on training sessions of LDR based Darkness activation, sensors interfacing and calibration, Manual Robot with remote controller, etc.
Vice Chancellor, BGSBU, Isrhad Ahmad Hamal, inspected the working model and interacted with the students and faculty members.
Sahil Makotra and Insha Ashraf were awarded as best participant in the event.
