JAMMU, Oct 18: Post Graduate (PG) Department University of Jammu drubbed Government Degree College Paloura by a margin of 8 goals in the final to lift the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Hockey Tournament, which concluded at Jammu University here today.
Earlier, riding on Amit Sharma’s superb 10 goals, PG Department thrashed GDC Paloura by (22-14). Taqdeer Singh Charak and Ranveer Singh also scored 4 and 3 goals respectively. For GDC Paloura Pankaj Chander netted 10 goals.
The match was officiated by Arun Kumar Sharma, Kapil Salgotra, Jai Bharat and Neeraj Singh.
Prof Deepshikha Kotwal, Director Law School was the chief guest, while Prof Dhian Singh Bhau was also present on the occasion.
