JAMMU, Oct 5: Government Degree College (GDC), Paloura in collaboration with Ministry of Petroleum, Government of India organized a workshop on “Misuse of Petroleum Products”.
On the occasion, Gurvinder Pal Kajla, Regional Officer, Petroleum Conservation Research Association (Youth) (PCRA) Chandigarh was the resource person.
An interactive session was held with the NSS volunteers of the college regarding misuse of petroleum products, during which Kajla suggested various ways to reduce the misuse of petroleum products.
The students expressed their views and assured to create awareness among the masses.
Principal of the college Prof Savitri Sharma stressed upon the students to create awareness among the people about the misuse of petroleum products.
On the occasion, prizes were distributed among the students. Abhilash, Diksha and Neha Akhter bagged first, second and third prize respectively.
The programme was organized under the supervision of Prof Surrinder Singh Parihar, NSS Programme Officer.
