KATRA, Mar 3: Two- day workshop on “Camera for Social Change”, organized by NSS, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, concluded last evening.
Tripurari Nath Tiwari and his three members’ team from Delhi visited the campus to conduct the workshop. 40 students from SMVDU took part in the events. The students were divided in 6 groups and introduced to script-writing, taking shots, editing, and all other components of film making. The themes chosen by different groups were based upon social issues. The acting, direction, shot-taking and editing was all done by students’ teams only.
The workshop was a fully activity-based workshop and all participating students worked very hard to complete their films in one night’s time. At the end of the workshop, all teams submitted their films and those were critically evaluated by the resource persons. The workshop was targeted to build trained groups of students to cover all kinds of events and activities on the campus as and when required.
Dr V K Tripathi, Coordinator NSS, delivered a vote of thanks.
