JAMMU, Oct 31: A five day workshop for Master Resource Persons in English, under Central Sponsored Scheme (CSS), Government of India, is being organized by GCOE, Canal Road, Jammu from today.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr Geetanjali Andotra Rana, Dean Humanities at Cluster University of Jammu, who was the chief guest of the event. In her address, she emphasized to acquaint the students with English as language and not as a course subject. The workshop was coordinated by Dr Ritu Magotra, Associate Professor in English. Dr Zubair, Coordinator CSS, gave a formal vote of thanks.
All the staff members and students of M.Ed actively participated in the program. A total of 55 teachers from across the district registered themselves under this program. The workshop will continue for next 4 days.
