JAMMU, Nov 14: The working of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Development Corporation has been reviewed today in Samba and Kathua Districts.
Managing Director of the Corporation, Dr. Bharat Bhushan took physical and financial review of the schemes being implemented by the Corporation in Samba and Kathua Districts.
Ghulam Qadir Khatana, General Manager; Iqbal Kataria, Deputy General Manager Projects; Asif Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (K); Mohd Yaseen, Chief Accounts Officer; DGM Recovery and District Manager of Samba and Kathua Districts were present in the meeting.
In the meeting it was apprised that the Corporation has advanced loan to the unemployed youth of the two districts to the tune of Rs. one crore and 17 lakhs during the current financial year.
The concerned officers were directed to achieve physical and financial targets so that maximum number of youth can get benefit of the soft loans being advanced by the Corporation.
Later the Managing Director called on District Development Commissioner Kathua, O.P Bhagat and discussed about the schemes of the Corporation.
