Wooden bridge washes away

KISHTWAR, July 3: A wooden bridge connecting several villages got washed away due to rise in water level.
As per official sources, Kundail wooden bridge on Machail Nallah of Padder today got washed away due to rise in water level, due to which a large number of population of several villages including Machail Shrine got cut off.
Sources added that it may take more than one week to completely restore the connectivity.
According to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma an alternate bridge is being constructed with help of Army.
