JAMMU, July 3: A Special Police Officer (SPO) died due to electric shock in Chak Talib area of Tehsil RS Pura today evening, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Gurdeep Singh, son of Gurbachan Singh, a resident of Chak Talib Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu. He was posted as driver with National Highway patrol vehicle at Narwal.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for completion of medical and legal formalities.
RS Pura Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
