JAMMU, Sept 11: National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morch Vijaya Rahatkar said that great participation by the women folk in the political activities will prove to be catalyst in nation development.
She started this while addressing Mahila Morcha meeting at party headquarters here today.
Rahatkar was also accompanied by National Vice-President BJP Mahila Morcha and Prabhari Mahila Morcha J&K Rashim Sood, J&K State President Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi and other senior leaders. BJP State President and MLA Nowshera Ravinder Raina also addressed the Mahila Morcha meeting.
Vijaya Rahatkar said that only the BJP has given true representation to the women of the nation cutting across all the differences of region or religion. She said that the BJP Government has truly revolutionized women empowerment by framing plenty of women centric welfare schemes and prompted the Mahila Morcha activists to ensure that the general women folk are benefited by these schemes. She asked the activists to follow the footsteps of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee while working for the welfare of the people. She also stressed on the use of Modi App, while she focused on the winning of 2019 elections.
Ravinder Raina, during his address, said that the women have a very primary role in shaping the development of the society. He stated that the BJP is the only political party which has truly recognized the women power and has given them representation at every step of party.
Rashim Sood in her address focused upon the strengthening of organizational strengthening of the Mahila Morcha at the microscopic level.
Rajni Sethi while speaking said that the women have to play a greater role in the overall development in the society. She said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA Government is working hard for bringing out positive changes in the women education, working and living conditions.
Earlier, Rahatkar also interacted with the beneficiaries of Ujwalla Yojana at Gangyal.
Sanjita Dogra conducted the stage proceedings while Shailja Gupta presented the vote of thanks.
Later, National President of BJP Mahila Morch Vijaya Rahatkar along with Rashim Sood and Rajni Sethi interacted with the media persons.
