JAMMU, May 15: BJP general secretary and Headquarters in charge, Sanjita Dogra said that women are the foundation of strong families and a progressive society and they play an important role in nation building.
She was speaking at a programme while releasing a poem titled “Matrashakti”, composed by Balbir Ram Rattan, BJP spokesperson and former VC here, today.
BJP women leaders, Neeru Rajput, Pooja Grover and Lovisha Gupta also accompanied Dogra during event. The poem “Matrashakti” highlights the strength, sacrifice, compassion and dedication of women towards their families and society. Through meaningful and emotional verses, the composition pays tribute to the spirit of motherhood and the invaluable role played by women in nurturing values, culture and humanity.
Sanjita Dogra, on this occasion, said that literature and poetry are effective mediums to inspire society and spread positive social messages. She said that women have always played a vital role in building strong families and shaping responsible generations.
Sanjita said that a society that respects women progresses on the path of development, harmony and prosperity.
She further said that Indian culture has always regarded women with the highest respect and dignity. She added that empowering women socially, economically and politically remains essential for a strong nation. She also said that creative works like “Matrashakti” help in creating awareness among the younger generation about the importance of respecting and honouring women.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that the poem is a humble tribute to mothers and women whose silent sacrifices and endless affection strengthen families and society. He expressed gratitude to the BJP women leaders for appreciating and unveiling his poem.
Neeru Rajput, Pooja Grover and Lovisha Gupta also praised the poem and termed it a meaningful literary effort dedicated to women empowerment and dignity. They said that such creative expressions inspire society to recognize the immense contribution of women in nation-building and social upliftment.
