MSJK protests against hike in petrol, diesel prices

JAMMU, May 15: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the hike in petrol and diesel prices. The protesters also raised slogans against the shortage and black marketing of LPG cylinders.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple who while addressing the protesters claimed that hike in petrol and diesel prices will in turn increase transport charges of the essential goods, commodities, vegetables, grocery etc.
He said that to all the Ministers, MPs and MLAs should leave their Government bungalows and start living in their own personal houses to meet the present situation.
The MSJK leader also demanded rolling back of the increased prices of petrol, diesel and LPG gas cylinders.
Prominent among those who were present in the protest were H.R Gupta, Karan Pradhan, Mintoo Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Nitin Saini and many others.
