RAJOURI, Feb 27: Mystery shrouds the death of a middle-aged woman whose dead body was recovered from a large pit on the outskirts of Sunderbani town last evening.
Some people noticed the body and informed police. Later, the deceased was identified as one Shanti Devi, wife of Mohan Lal of Gadigarh. The police said that the woman was mentally unsound and had reached there. The body was shifted for postmortem and a case under Section 174 CrPC was registered in this connection. Investigation has been started into the matter.
