JAMMU, Oct 24: A woman, who was injured due to assault by a man in Selli area of tehsil Dansal, succumbed to her injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today evening, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Naziran Bibi, wife of Abdul Ghani, a resident of Selli Tehsil Dansal District Jammu.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH for post-mortem.
A case under FIR Number 168/2021 under relevant Sections stands registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and further investigation is going on.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused in the case identified as Sultan Mohammad, son of Reham Din of Selli Tehsil Dansal was arrested by the police.
