JAMMU, Jan 19: A woman hailing from district Udhampur succumbed to her burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here.
As per reports, Santosh Devi, wife of Rohit Kumar of Sailan Talab, district Udhampur received serious burn injuries at her home on January 2.
She was rushed to District Hospital, Udhampur and later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to her burn injuries today.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Police has taken the cognizance.
