JAMMU, Jan 19: Nataraj Dancing Academy, Talab Tillo celebrated its first Annual Day function with great enthusiasm and favour at police auditorium, here today.
On the occasion, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, former Deputy Mayor and Sanjeev Gupta, MD JKMS and NCC were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
The programme started by Saraswati Vandhana performed by girls, followed by Ganesh Aarti by boys seeking blessings and making everyone present feeling totally devoted to almighty.
A bonanza of very entertaining items were presented by the tiny-tots of the Academy followed by a Tapori Dance by Jatin Sharma and Bharik and another group Dance performed by boys Roobal, Sahil and Aashish which touched every ones heart.
On the other hand girls including Anita, Spaldon, Uzma, Kareena, Vanshita and Reeta rocked the show by dancing on the tip-top beats which became a great attraction.
Another dancing item “Nagada” and “Ghagra” by Jatin, Muskan, Bharik and Nehal Sharma received thundering applause from audience.
Later, a surprise item was also presented by Rahul and Sahil which stole the show.
Nataraj also conducted a Fancy Dress competition in which kids from various schools including JKMC participated.
Managing Director Rahul Talwar in his speech introduced some major activities of the Academy.
At last prizes and certificates were distributed among deserving candidates.
