JAMMU, July 10: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, the woman identified as Champa Devi (25) wife of Ranjeet Kumar, a resident of Mansar, was shifted here at GMCH on June 23 after she suffered burn injuries at her residence in a fire incident occurred due to alleged leakage of cooking gas.
“However, the woman succumbed to her today at about 6.40 PM”, he said, adding, the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
